Former country music star Dal Mayberry has been offered the job of principal in the high school he's taught at for the last few years.
His wife, Jenny, is proud as can be for him. She gave up her career as a concert pianist to return to the classroom and teach, and she knew how much Dal loved the students and teaching, and how hard he'd worked to earn the respect of the students and his fellow teachers.
But, co-worker Constance McCord finds fault with Dal's promotion, upset that she wasn't chosen for the position,,and she makes all sorts of hateful accusations in front of all the other teachers and staff at their monthly teachers meeting.
Jenny loses her temper and tells the other woman a thing or two, ignoring Dal's soft-spoken warnings to hush. Jenny feels justified in calling the woman out, urged on by the murmurings by fellow teachers.
Dal isn't about to permit his wife to behave in this manner, and informs her that she has earned a very serious punishment.
Jenny doesn't think he is being fair, especially when she was defending him, and when the holiday season is so very busy!
Constance McCord has her own secret, and it is a stunned Jenny that she turns to for help.
A Christmas Duet features the same characters from A Christmas Medley and will bring out the warm feelings of the season.
