laZy, craZy & amaZing: the Zequillustration

Illustrated for kids BY KIDS, this unique book combines the out of the box thinking of an ageless storyteller with the untethered imaginations of bright and eager elementary school artists.

The story begins with the feisty letter Z visiting Dr. Letterburger because he’s tired – tired of being last! The kindly Dr. Letterburger gently guides Z on an enlightening journey that simultaneously takes readers of all ages into a nourishing world of increased self-awareness and self-assessment. Even adult readers come away with a stronger sense of who they are and what their special purpose is.

Drawn by second, third, fourth and fifth graders, the illustrations colorfully provide a precious perspective to each scene.

To produce this vivid update, the author took his unillustrated first edition on a 2-month mini tour to elementary schools in New Jersey. Encouraged by very positive feedback from more than 2,500 students and teachers and enriched by more than 250 drawing submissions, Hochman decided to assemble this illustrated sequel or in this case ZequIllustration!
