Facing the Distracters of the Soul

“Facing the Distracters of the Soul” is unique because the various subjects of Stress, Worry, Grief, Burdens, Loneliness, Conflicts, Bitterness, and Unforgiveness can stand alone in any presentation, yet together they bind a cord around a life in the sense of being a distracter of the soul. The real uniqueness of each is that they have a way of disrupting and taking over a person’s life. It is therefore critical for us to understand the source, formulation, and fostering of each subject and how we can best handle them affectively. Realistically our problems stem from our self-interests, desires, and drives. That is why it is important for us to examine our attitudes and actions to see if we are on the right track with God. To help us determine whether we are on the right track, I have added material on God’s viewpoint of these subjects especially on what God the Father expects of us.
