Interesting early Rohmer story with mysterious Jewish Robin Hood anti-hero who blackmails the wealthy Jews of London. Some may see veiled anti-semitism, but it's actually quite pro-Hebrew. Writing is a bit mired in penny dreadful/dime novel prose, but an interesting and rare use of Jews in the pop culture of the day.
