This is an engaging tale about a likeable old coot who, in addition to being one of the greatest shooters of his time, took time out to teach younger, less-exprienced men and boys the way of the West. The book was authored by Edward Sylvester Ellis, writing as Captain Carleton. Equivalent number of pages, about 100.
