"It's the 1960's in Michigan and journalist Claudia Kali is desperate for a job to fund an escape from an abusive husband. She is hired by the Liemus Press and begins living two lives. The newspaper's publisher is Neil Liemus, an arrogant, self-serving, womanizer, who has a secret, if exposed would ruin him. The Liemus Press is a family-owned business, with his son, Urho, as advertising director, and Neil's wife, Greta, as chief financial officer. Claudia, forever trapped, finally meets Urho, who senses her fear and frustration and guides her to discover many truths and secrets that save her life.
