Veteran Tampa police detective Mike Mallory finds that sculptor Jamie Moore’s wife is missing, that Moore has been stabbed in the heart, and that he has been miraculously saved by his mysterious friend, with of all things, a bag of frozen peas.

What starts off as the inexplicable, becomes life altering for all concerned when Mallory discovers that the very fabric of humanity is being stretched to the breaking point by the invisible hand of unrestrained evil.

In order for justice to be served, Mallory must abandon the love he has found, and the life he has known, and choose to murder without remorse, or watch, in impotent silence, as evil walks with impunity under the noonday sun.
