The Pale Man Won't Bite

Susan Fanick believes her life will never change. She's a night nurse at a hospital downtown, and a little too curvy to attract the eyes of the doctors. At 28, she accepts that she will be alone with her friends, and she's happy.

Then, a series of sudden events occur, and she realizes there are monsters in the city. Some of them hunt her. Some of them keep her safe. One of them will become the only thing more unexpected than a supernatural monster: a hunky boyfriend.
