I Call Him King

King, a bitter and wounded, divorced middle-aged man that suppresses his hurt in unhealthy ways by abusing alcohol, hanging with the wrong crowd, partying trying to maintain his youth after being abandoned by his wife of 20 years. With several years gone by, King meets L, an optimist who believes love can fix anything. During courtship, L strives to win Kings heart in such a way that he sees her and not his past, but it isn't easy, as King begins to horrifically, mentally and emotionally abuse the one woman who truly loved him.
