My Story Could Be Your Story

Life plays us different cards and sometimes we’re stuck holding what seems like a game-loser. The cards of oxygen, therapy, a defibrillator, chemotherapies and more were only a few that were dealt at our card table. My friend, Sonia Vega and I, thought that life had dealt us the worst cards possible. Life has handed me many difficult cards in which I have even stared death in the face several times. On the other side of the table, Sonia Vega was dealt a hand of cards, which included stage four-breast cancer. Yes, life can play you many cards, but the last card of your life, God holds in his precious hands.
