WE-WEY - DO NOTHING

I visited China in December 2012. It was a pleasant trip. I was impressed. I knew China only from Communist era propaganda films and newsreels during my years in high school and university in Communist Romania 1970-1983; visiting now, the second largest economy on Earth, only after USA (where I reside) and above mighty Japan, Germany and the rest, was impressive. Very!
After a long and unpleasant D-flight, from Detroit to Beijing, getting to a nice hotel in Beijing was a nice change. In December the weather was cold; not a pleasant cold, but a bitter and wet cold, which gets inside your bones. The air pollution is everywhere.
Note for traveler form USA to China: take good food with you, during this long flight. The food offered by the airlines is uneatable. Comfort foods and snacks will make the flight pass a little bit easier and faster.
The Business and First Class are a heavy overprices unnecessary luxury, only few can afford. If you have miles, is advisable to exchange then for Business.
When you are in USA or Europe, you see China in one way, the path and the images described by newspapers, by magazines, by media.
Once you are in China, the vision is totally different. Totally! I do recommend every person, every executive, every politician to visit China, not only for business or political related decisions, but for information and culture.
These are my impressions. I could be wrong, or misinformed. You have to take them with a grain of salt. I am trying to keep then short and Tweeter like.
This is a work in progress. I will add more impressions and observations.
