Al-Fitan (Arabic meaning trials and fierce battles) is a Compilation of previous released poetry and includes a new set of poems, with additional photos. Lucian A. Sperta continues his cathartic history of being a survivor of sexual and physical abuse, and how he now perceives the world around him as a 'dangerous' place; from wars, starvation, global warming, the Arab Spring...he appears to be affected by the tumultuous conflicts and the challenges we all face in the at this time in our human history.
