Ozzy the Poofle

Ozzy is a Bulldog-Boxer mix who comes to live with a very quiet, unassuming man named Herb Smith. Herb would never have purchased a dog for himself, he is just not that kind of man. It takes his sister, Mary and her daughter, Lintly to come up with the idea that "Uncle Herb" really would like a dog. And Lintly decided that the 6 year old "pup" is the perfect dog for her uncle.
Another entity decides that Oz is perfect...perfect to inhabit. He is from a far-away planet, possibly bent on the destruction of Earth. That spark inserts itself into Oz and begins to communicate. Ozzy, who is intelligent and savvy, "talks" back and this funny, charming, often sad little tale looks at the moment in time when three entities who have had more negative than positive influences in their lives come together to discuss life and other oddities. This novelette combines the joys of youth, the common sense of animals and the isolation of humanity to provide a small window into life, anywhere, anytime.
