Idealists cause wars. Methodologists plan and carry out wars. Average people staff and die in wars. Is this the way it was supposed to happen??
Who was sent by the creator to watch out over His or Her fledgling populations of developing humans? Could that have been the purpose of the inhabitants of the advanced culture of famed Atlantis? Whatever happened when Atlantis disappeared? Did all the Atlanteans just die? Did they blend into the population? What population? Man was barely walking on two legs when the legendary Atlantis disappeared. Maybe they all went to the top of a mountain and ruled as gods and goddesses? Would that be in character? Who were they, before and after the fall of Atlantis?
Perhaps they were overseers of the new planet and its newer animals, including the human ones. Perhaps they had a job to do. Perhaps they did it well – so well that they ignored the eventual end of the Ice Age and the melting and final destruction of their home land? Perhaps those who were left in outposts spread across the earth decided to continue their primary duties...to oversee the population and guide them through the years of development.
Welcome to the Empress of Cadiz. This group of four female descendants of survivors of the destruction of Atlantis, begun around 10,000 BC, was founded with the concept that someone needed to continue their duties of overseeing the population, and watching carefully for the idealists, who had the propensity to change the population and its growth and development in major ways. The most secret of secret societies, they moved carefully among and between portions of developing civilizations attempting to guide the most powerful and most powerless in the survival of the most advanced of earth's animals...Man.
For some reason, in the year 2010 AD, the organization determines that it is time for the powers-that-be, in the form of the CIA of the United States of America to be apprised of the existence of their group. They select the agent they want to be in charge of the operation and they select the member of the Empress of Cadiz organization whose duty it will be to share the 12,000 year-old society with modern man. The man is Jack Cullen, who is a leading Intelligence Officer, interested professionally in investigating possible subversive organizations; and the member of the Cadiz organization whose duty it is to spill the beans is a retired Empress, Blaylis.
This unlikely duo meet in a rented mansion in New York state and proceed to fall in love, with one unfortunate hitch – he is dying of cancer and she has a way to save him, but it means breaking the laws she has sworn to protect and defend. She struggles with her dilemma as he struggles with real love for the first time in his life and such a short time to enjoy it. And enjoy it they do!
Look at the history of the world from a slightly different viewpoint and learn how the idealists of the past formed the world we inhabit today, for better or worse.
