PB007-R Baby Bugs and Toys Crochet Pattern

Make cute baby crochet toys using the Baby Bugs and Toys Crochet Pattern. There are five bugs, including a large momma, and three flowers that are eye appealing to babies. Use the toys for play time or transform the smaller ones into a mobile. You can secure magnets under the large momma ladybug spots and in the little ladybugs for additional fun.

Additional Materials:

Yarn needle; Embroidery thread and needle (or fabric paint); Invisible thread and needle, Fiberfill; 16 Magnets - ¾” (19 mm) round.

Note about Magnets:

The magnets found in most craft shops are not strong enough for this project. You need magnets that can attract through two layers of crochet material. We recommend House-Mates (HM) Hardware ¾ inch disc magnets found at both Home Depot and Lowe’s in the screw/nut/bolt aisle.

Crochet Hook: Size E-4 (3.50 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge: 5 hdc = 1”, 4 rows hdc = 1”
