The Faded Photograph

The Faded Photograph is the story of Lisa, born to Swiss parents in Southeast Asia during WWII. The book tells of her subsequent travels and adventures in Indonesia, Switzerland, Holland and Venezuela. She marries, has three children, lives through abuse and deceit, and finally divorces. Her childhood memories of her large family, their influence on her life, and her great love for them emanate throughout the book. The story delves into her ancestry after she discovers a faded photograph of her great-grandfather, and goes back centuries when her ancestors had to fight for their freedom and independence, and then returns to the present day of her life.
