Stories From Riverwood

"Stories From Riverwood" is a humorous look back at the Post-World War II era through the eyes of a child while growing up in Riverwood, Indiana. It is made up of childhood stories that the author, Gary Crask, told to his children as they were growing up, plus a few stories that he didn't tell them. They include interesting encounters with some very famous people and other not so famous people, but all very interesting in their own way. Most of the stories have a moral or a lesson to be learned, and you can feel a life's philosophy beginning to develop from a very early age. After reading this book, you will have a very good feel for what the world was like back then in a less complicated time in small-town America before computers, large expensive houses and working moms.
