When Richard Wood received a phone call from a distraught Chief Keating of the Hanscome Maine police department, informing him of the disappearance of Sergeant Williams a mutual friend of theirs and of a few other people, he cancels his vacation and leaves for Hanscome immediately. Upon his arrival at Chief Keating's cabin he senses a great evil presence coming from the Abram House that was on the other side of the lake and he could sense that it wanted to draw him there.
It wasn't until later on he learned that Phillip Waldon whom he had been instrumental in his capture in the Waldon House murders, had escaped from an institution for the criminally insane and was the cause of all the disappearances in Hanscome.
Richard Wood calls his two associates Thomas Whitcome and Karen White to come to Hanscome and help him with this new case. Can Richard Wood and his two associates solve this case and save everyone involved or will they fail and lose their very souls too the evil that now lives in Abram House?
