Waking Up In Baja

Traveling down Baja's long and narrow peninsular shortly after the government finished a paved two-lane road to the tip was still an adventure and short on resources in 1976. With a couple of old motorcycles and some salami and cheese, these two adventurers left the "new" road behind to explore the few remaining remnants of the old west before television and modern communications erased the adventure and isolation from this part of Mexico.
