The day Tim turned fourteen everything changed.
To celebrate his birthday, he and his friends decide to skip school, and, after a freak mishap, they all discover the have super powers. No sooner do they develop the abilities of flight, mind reading and hyper-invention, just to name a few, all of their household pets suddenly become dragons.
Before long they find themselves swept up in a strange series of events, including gang rivalries, a battle of the bands and several conflicts that land them on the wrong side of the law. Then without warning, they start disappearing, one by one.
While trying to keep one step ahead of their ever-increasing number of enemies, the police, and nosy members of their own families, they race to find the source of their power and stop it before their secret is revealed, or worse, they all vanish completely.
