Half Breed: Beginning of the End

Religion is a powerful force on human nature, but what if all our beliefs were ever so slightly skewed from the facts? What if humans were not the chosen race, yet merely a means to create an army for Heaven and Hell? In a world of death and decay will humans rise to be the creatures of morals we portray, or revert back to our animalistic hate and bigotry? Questions are piling up, but the answers could be found in our various religious documents carefully preserved over the years. Things seem so simple in our minds until we are faced with the truth of what we really believe. Our faith gives us strength, but could very well be our downfall should we place it in the wrong hands.
Draven, the only half breed demon and prophesized champion of Hell, has seen this faith fail humans more than once; especially the day the monstrous darkness inside him was awakened. He has always tried to fight for what was good and just, but when his soul is slowly poisoned by the demonic energy that grants him his amazing abilities; the world has a lot to be nervous about. Draven, only has one chance of salvation, and that may be in the hands of his greatest enemy. Hell wants to recruit him, Heaven wants to kill him, but Draven simply needs to survive; if not for his sake, but for the sake of planet Earth and the human race that has called it home. Who will rise up to protect us? A weapon of destruction, the beings we place our faith into, or a mysterious teen thrust into this fight? Whoever stands up, should they fail; we are all doomed to slavery with no hope of breaking our chains of servitude.
