Kate decided to try a ring on, she chose the one that had the same first letter as her name. It sounded like as good of a reason as any.

The ring slid on her middle finger easily. Once the ring was on it seemed to tighten around her finger. Kate thought it must be her imagination, but a few tugs on the stubborn ring soon made her frantic with worry.

Kate looked up at her husband and the fear melted away. She no longer felt troubled by the stubborn ring. She felt fine, in fact, she felt more than fine. Her heart rate quickened, her breath came faster.

She barely noticed Mike pulling with all of his might on the ring fastened to his finger.

The only thing she noticed was that his swim trunks were on and that would simply not do.

Her fingers wrapped around the elastic waistband of his swim trunks and yanked down to the sandy beach as she fell to her knees in front of Mike.
