Colorblind

Young, beautiful and smart, Patience was raised to believe a person's race didn't matter. Her African-American mother and Caucasian father taught her to be open-minded and non judgmental. And at the age of twenty-two, she is attracted to men of different races. However, Patience is saddened by the prejudice she encounters when dating both black and white men. She is accused of "acting white" by the African-American community, shunned because of her green eyes and caramel skin tone. She is also hidden by her Caucasian boyfriends for being "too black" to take home to their parents.
Patience now stands at a fork in the road. Will she have to choose between staying true to herself and finding a mate? Does she need to identify with only one race? Or can she embrace BOTH heritages within her while finding love that is colorblind?
