Sorry's Not Enough

Charlotte learned at a young an age that even family can hurt you so bad "sorry" will never be enough to heal the wounds. She's gotten damn good at pushing people away to keep her heart safe. Romance is nowhere on her radar, so she's caught off guard when a summer writing workshop offers more than just critique.

Recent college grad Steven is pretty sure he's got life--and love--all figured out. Until he meets Charlotte. She isn't impressed with his charm and good looks, and makes him work hard for every smile, every laugh. There's something under the surface of her stay-the-hell-away-from-me attitude that only makes him want to get closer, and little by little, she lets him.
