Long ago a band of medieval poets sailing to the Far East braved a terrible storm. No trace of them was ever found.

Recently, a mysterious bundle of hastily written scrolls, faded and fragile, was found stuffed in a big rusty tea tin on a pitifully small mountainous island in the Sea of Japan.

After examination, experts finally concluded, but mostly relented, “…might be Haiku, kinda looks like it, but they all end with ‘Wormchow’, why?” Speculation continues.

While scholars scoffed at the importance of these writings, the linguistically daring team of Charles Keithley Thomas and H. N. Brice stayed up nights and swilled enormous quantities of poorly brewed machine tea in order to preserve the legacy of those lost poets, who, it turns out, were remarkably prolific and insightful before they froze to death.

The Wormchow Haiku presents a lighthearted reply to the wisdom of the ages. Rife with wise sayings, clever retorts and meaningful repartee, each page leads the reader to the understanding that the Philosophers, Sages and Great Thinkers of ages past were no less human than their readers, and no less immune to sarcasm. Legend holds that these treasures come from lost scrolls written in medieval times. But, more importantly, once you’ve read this book, you’ll travel deep into the human condition and return with your sense of humor intact. Delightful illustrations amuse with simplicity and whimsy. This is an engaging and hilarious book for those acquainted with wisdom and those wanting to escape it.

So open up the book and immerse yourself in ageless wisdom. Go ahead, those guys froze to death, it’s only polite.
