The Painter and the Raven

Paint yourself a Raven is a tale of a painter named Evelyn, who lives in a remote cottage near cliffs overlooking the sea. She moved there because she is fascinated by ravens and spends much of her time watching or painting them. As far back as she can remember, she has longed to fly as they do. One day she finds a raven trapped at the bottom of her trash barrel. Chuckling to herself, she sets the barrel down on its side. The raven waddles out of the barrel and into Evelyn’s life.
