Valskering: The Portal

Valskering is a tale about a fugitive who is wrongfully accused of a crime. He escapes and is chased by a federal marshal taking him from the Rocky Mountains through Appalachia, the Bahamas and up into the far northern latitudes. Along the way he meets his soul mate and reconnects with an old friend who also needs to escape from past deeds. While up north he and the marshal, who believes in his innocence, finally meet face to face where they together discover a lost Viking colony. The story culminates at a time when the planet can no longer support its extreme population.
