17 year old Briana Douglas is suddenly uprooted from her hometown of San Diego, California by her father due to a job offer. Since the death of her mother at age seven, it has been Bree's three brothers, her father and her for the majority of her life. At her new school, Briana makes two new friends named Brooklyn and Cassie; Cassie she later finds out is a teenage mother in school.
