Amber eyes reflected and the wolf stood up, edging closer. It’s fur purely black.

Lillian turned for another shot at escape but the wolf knocked her to the ground. Then as it laid on top of her bones cracked and it shifted back into Jared except his ears were still pointy. Four sharp fangs protruded from his lips and a tail swung back and forth from his rear.

“Don’t hurt me!” Lillian said, her voice shaky.

“Oh no mercy. I’m going to eat you all up!”
