Finding A Safe-haven

Finding a Safe-haven is a book for young adults and adults alike. Themed as a journal written by a teen-aged survivor of the zombie apocalypse, the fictional first person narrative depicts a daring escape and gripping adventure unlike any other.

The news is not good. Entire cities are locked down in quarantine zones, due to a new and fast-spreading virus that has been labeled the Z471A strain. No news leaks out from inside the quarantine zones, leaving 16-year-old Brenna McHenry to wonder about the fate of her father.

But then the virus spreads to her town. Her mother isn't home from work yet, meaning she has to fend for herself, and take care of her younger brother. When her neighborhood becomes unsafe, it is time to flee, to find a refuge from the deadly disease.
