The purpose of this book is to show you just how most, if not all the authors and propagators in the Human Consciousness Movement, have sold us on fallacy hinged on a manipulated and mystical angle of quantum physics theory. These propagators, whom I will refer to as “the gurus”, are able to have their cake and eat it too, but at the expense of people like me and many of you who are reading this book. I will refer to all of us as “the victims” of the deceptive teachings of the gurus.
Without a doubt, that is a pretty strong statement or allegation. However, it is one that I will do my best to qualify in the following pages. I think it is fitting for me to conclude that we are all intelligent, sound thinking people, and adept in the reasoning faculties of our minds. With that being said, how could we ever allow ourselves to be victimized by these gurus? Surely, we should not be so easily cajoled by their persuasive tactics and propaganda, right? I implore you to read on and become acquainted with the savviness and appeal of these players. See how they take science-backed information, along with prolific sacred texts of the so-called prophets, philosophers, sages, mystics and masters of antiquity; expertly weaving it all into an allegorically attractive presentation to lure you into their beautiful snare. Yes, these gurus methodically get your attention, plant their seed, acquire your trust, and eventually have you in need of their products and susceptible to their demand for your devotion and support. At first, they appear to be god-sent, because the delivery of their message is so metaphysically and esoterically appealing to you, reaching to the very core of your learned identity. (More to be said later on the subject of ‘our learned identity’.)
