I tutor older students who arrive at my tutorial studio reading at a first or second grade level. They want to read chapter books. A search for chapter books at their reading level yields reading material far below their interest level. This book is the first of a series I am writing for older students who are reading in the first and second grade range.

This illustrated science fiction story is the tale of a boy named "Kidd Candy" who makes a wish resulting in a surprise that changes his life forever.
