Ukrainian Bankruptcy Law

A new Ukrainian law governing bankruptcy proceedings went into effect on January, 2013, greatly complicating the already difficult process. Instead of providing an efficient mechanism for liquidating the indebted company, the new law focuses on restoring the debtor’s solvency and delays the actual liquidation.
