The Froon Cycle

Froons are everywhere, but only when an act of atomic terrorism blights a large section of the United States do they finally find a place for themselves here on Earth. Although generally good-natured, their complex life-cycles baffle their human hosts. Still it's mostly live-and-let-live, until the Froons begin to reach for their final destiny and the planet is brought close to destruction.
