Black History: Former Slaves A Pictorial Tribute

This is a collection of photos of former slaves. The purpose of this collection is to put a face to the travesty of slavery in the United States of American. It is important to remember the former slaves and imagine what it took for them to endure inhumane treatment and a grave injustice that has negative implications even into the 21st century. We must remember. We will remember the faces of slavery.
