Hypothetically Speaking

What would you do if you awoke to the sound of a tree decapitating your house faster than the speed of light? What would you do if the Narrator, who is also an alien, began to talk to you? What would you do if the love of your life, who you had given up on after not seeing her in over a year, suddenly reentered your story?
