The Long Journey Home

The Long Journey Home describes the winding road through my life, from childhood and teen abuse at the hands of my father, to a football injury that left me paralyzed for life. After the death of my mom, I left home and resumed my education and discovered my inner self, and learned so much about the world of disability, from sex to sports and everything in between. After college, I embarked upon a career in the arts, both as a writer and as an actor, director and producer. I became an advocate for the disability community, engaging in individual advocacy, as well as civil disobedience. Throughout my life, I search for that one special person, and finally find her, after chasing a Playboy bunny, and assorted characters from computer and newspaper ads. Casino gambling is an important part of the journey, tracing back to my virgin trip to Resorts International in Atlantic City when I was fifteen, with the highlight being a 9/11 trip to Vegas.

The conclusion reflects upon the death of my father, my struggle for forgiveness, and the role God has played in my life.
