The Story Called The Dream

The Story Called The Dream is a 2013 American children's fantasy-adventure story by Alexander Easson. Based on a true-to-life dream the story chronicles brave children (helped by knights) battling a ferrous fire-breathing dragon trying to save their town. Notable for its use of old-school illustrations, technicolor, fantasy storytelling and unusual characters, over the years it will become one of the best known of all children's literature stories and part of 21st century American popular culture. A warning to sensitive readers 6 years or under: the protagonist ends up in prison, while half of the town is burnt down to the ground.
