Lab Rats

A savvy, reflective novel pivoting round the struggle of Jud Fleming, the director of a pharmaceutical lab', to maintain his integrity in the face of a tempting but unethical business offer. Adding to the pressure, his position in the company is threatened unless he increases revenue, and several of his enemies are more skilled at office politics. Fleming is also burdened by memories of his wife who died tragically in an avalanche, and by an unruly daughter who works for the company and seems allied with his detractors. The question is whether Fleming succeeds and survives as himself.
