The Phoenix on the Sword

First published in Weird Tales, December 1932, Phoenix on the Sword is the first tale in the saga of Conan, written by Robert E. Howard. The story centers around the plot of the Rebel Four to assassinate a middle aged King Conan the Cimmerian when he is unprepared and defenseless.
