Curiosity

After it happened, I endeavored to analyze the events that led up to becoming what I am now, concluding I'd made four mistakes. The first was in reporting a leaky water heater to building maintenance. The second forgetting the day and time that they said they would come to repair it. Thirdly, calling in sick just so I could take a day off work to play, the fourth... well, that's what this story is all about, isn't it.
