Who is Bella?

I wrote this book based on my experiences with my new English Pointer named Bella. We purchased her from a breeder and this was her first home. Bella had to meet several new cats, three other pointer dogs, and the horses and critters on the farm At first she did not respond to her name. She was confused and very nervous. The message I would like children to know is when they get anew pet, they need to be patient, kind and gentle. It will take time for the pet to adjust to its new surroundings. If you do this, you will have a best friend, companion, and a pet that becomes a special part of the family.
