If “Johnny Smith” gave you his real name he could be in a lot of trouble, the death penalty kind. He wasn’t always this way; once he was a well respected police officer. It wasn’t until his wife, a fellow officer, was gunned down while they were on duty that Johnny changed. Now he’ll tap into his secret ability to speak with the dead. Full of rage, he plans to use his gift to communicate with his wife, find her killers, and avenge her murder. But why can’t he see her, why doesn’t she come to him? Other victims are coming through, feeding off of his desire for vengeance and demanding retribution. Smith wonders if the ghosts are preventing his wife from coming forward until he satisfies their needs or if she doesn’t approve of her husband’s plan. Johnny decides to help the ghosts, partly due to his disdain for the city’s broken justice system, but mostly in the hopes that he will see his wife once more.
