Out Of Time

"Yet the navigator held on. Throughout the confusion of a lost captain and sudden radiation spikes, he led the ship onward. We had close calls with the space rocks hitting aft. But I saw no reason to not trust him though. If he had gotten us this far without ruining the bow, he could certainly make it."

A short story set in space, told by a young crew member. The only thing that is known, is that they're on a journey. To where? No one is exactly sure anymore. The crew just knows that they must get there before it's too late.
