Art Effects

Former investigative reporter Shelby McCoy, the fiftyish heroine of Art Effects, enjoys her new career as an arts reporter for the Mesa Vista Tribune, in Mesa Vista, New Mexico. She also anticipates her marriage to Benjamin Keith Andrews, the curator of the Mesa Vista Museum. After a painting disappears from the museum, and art objects vanish from galleries and restaurants around town. Benjamin Keith suspects that Charlie Pearson has taken them, since he has a history of stealing to pay gambling debts.

Art Effects is the sequel to Snap Me a future, the story of Shelby's arrival to Mesa Vista after a serious injury incurred covering a story.
