Winifred Best de Rufus, the woman whom with a strong character, will and determination raised a family on her own. Her biography will help and encourage other parents to bring up their children in difficult circumstances. She lived in one of the poorest neighborhoods in Panama City, Panama. Regardless of her situation and with a second grade education, she managed to successfully raise children given to her to be productive men and women in the community when all odds were against them.
