From the Heart Surviving the Abuse

As my first marriage became abusive poetry became my outlet, the only part of me that my ex husband could not touch. After I met and married my current husband he encouraged not only my writing but that I publish my poems in the hopes that I could help someone who was also being abused. It is my hopes that by sharing these, they will let others know and understand that the emotions are real and there is hope, you can survive and you are worth loving. This is the second in my series of From the Heart, each one representing another healing point in my life.
