A Demon's Foe: Sile the Hammer

The people of South Village believe Sile, the blacksmith's son, is a simpleton. Nevertheless, because of his unnatural mastery of metal, he is compelled to join a company of elite blacksmiths journeying to Haset's Burn, the dwarfs' stronghold. For Sile this becomes a dangerous odyssey leading down unexpected paths. Again and again he confronts challenges that would have previously overwhelmed him.
As Sile struggles to survive the relentless pursuit of the demon's servants, remarkable companions, including Heart's Jewel, gather around him. They recognize that there is more to this young man than the people of South Village are aware of.
