Edison Wedge and the Gek

Fossil fuels have all been exhausted and Earth has become a hot, back-water planet. But interstellar Gek traders have arrived, offering all the energy Earth can purchase. At what price? Edison Wedge, an underappreciated cowboy, links his star to the Gek and rides it to fame and power. Unfortunately, with power comes corruption and Edison finds he must fight his own past to keep faith with the Gek and prevent the Earth from going dark again.
