Hidden in San Francisco

Six years ago, Kim’s parents were murdered in Vermont leaving her and her brothers on their own. Seeking new friends, they now find themselves living in the waterfront of San Francisco in an old warehouse.
Kim feels trapped and leaves her beloved gang behind. As she wanders the streets of Fisherman’s Wharf, she stumbles onto a new gang. They welcome her warmly and soon Kim finds herself with a new family.
Just as Kim starts to settle down, new problems are uncovered involving her parents’ unsolved murder. Kim and her friend Jason travel across the country to save their homes and families while uncovering this complicated mystery. Kim’s brother gives Kim their mother’s diary written when she was Kim’s age which gives Kim some massive clues. Kim soon finds herself trying to save not only her family’s lives, but the life of the President of the United States!
